• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts on days/evenings/nights; 36 hours per week
• Duration: 17 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,950 - $2,060

Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of long-term care, LTAC, or sub-acute nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Strong communication, flexibility, and delegation skills
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed by the unit

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to geriatric residents in a long-term acute care and long-term care setting
• Complete patient assessments and document findings accurately in the medical record
• Implement and follow the nursing plan of care to support safe, quality outcomes
• Administer medications safely and on schedule in accordance with facility protocols
• Oversee and support LPN and CNA team members as part of a collaborative care team
• Work with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to promote comfort, safety, and continuity of care
• Support wound care needs in accordance with established standards and procedures
