• Position: Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Location: Nashville, TN 37207
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,550 - $1,630
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule
• Start Date: 09/28/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Ability to prioritize care and multitask in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Experience starting IVs, performing basic wound care, and managing surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to bedside nursing

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bedside care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changing clinical needs
• Support safe management of IV therapy, telemetry, and related bedside equipment
• Assist with wound care, drain management, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes as needed
• Provide compassionate, attentive care and communicate effectively with patients and families
• Participate in bedside shift report and collaborate with the care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Float as needed according to unit rotation and staffing needs
