• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Unit Size: 36 beds
• Charting System: MEDITECH
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holidays: Required
• Floating: Occasionally

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospital Med/Surg units
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• NIHSS certification required
• Experience with MEDITECH charting preferred
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Must meet travel radius requirements for submission

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult Med/Surg patients with a wide range of diagnoses
• Monitor and assess patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, ESRD, pneumonia, renal failure, sepsis, and post-surgical needs
• Administer medications, complete treatments, and document care accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses, hospitalists, respiratory therapy, and ancillary staff to support positive patient outcomes
• Prioritize care for multiple patients while maintaining strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and ongoing communication with the care team
• Contribute to a professional, team-focused environment that values quality and patient-centered care
