Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• At least 2 years of nursing experience in step-down, ICU, progressive care, or telemetry settings
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience caring for adult cardiac patients, post-cardiac catheterization patients, and telemetry patients
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in floating as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care for cardiac observation and post-cardiac catheterization patients
• Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult progressive care and step-down patients
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record
• Maintain a calm, flexible approach in a fast-paced acute care environment
