• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Location: Hebron, Nebraska 68370
• Employment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM, 3 shifts per week with weekend and holiday rotation
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Setting: Emergency Room / Med-Surg patient care environment

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Nebraska
• Current and maintained CPR, ACLS, TNCC, NRP, and STABLE certifications
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency department setting
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow established nursing protocols

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to emergency room and Med-Surg patients
• Observe, record, and report patient symptoms, conditions, and changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments using proper clinical and documentation standards
• Assist with examinations, procedures, rehabilitation support, and use of specialized equipment
• Provide competent nursing care in the ER following demonstration of proficiency
• Support obstetric, postpartum, and newborn care as needed after competency validation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical nursing standards
• Participate in quality improvement, orientation, in-service education, and team initiatives
