Job Requirements

• Active New York RN license only
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare setting

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, compassionate Med/Surg nursing care in accordance with established standards
• Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and interdisciplinary team to support safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Monitor patients with telemetry needs and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• May serve in expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, or committee member based on unit needs
• Deliver service excellence while supporting clinical practice, professional growth, and evidence-based care
• Adapt to rotating shifts and unit needs, including weekends and occasional holiday coverage
