- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 4 shifts per week
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,660–$1,750
- Schedule Notes: Every other weekend and holiday
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the applicable state
- BLS certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS certification required prior to first shift
- Minimum 1 year of bedside nursing experience required; 2 years highly desired
- Experience in LTAC, acute care, med-surg, telemetry, or similar clinical settings preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
RN Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive nursing assessments within the first 8 hours of admission
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Provide accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Participate in weekly care conferences and support care coordination
- Assist with discharge planning and patient/family education beginning on admission
- Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the charge nurse, physician, and care team
- Support rehabilitation goals, patient safety, infection control, and quality outcomes
- Delegate and coordinate care appropriately with ancillary nursing staff
- Maintain safe work practices and contribute to a positive, collaborative unit culture
- Take initiative in professional development and ongoing clinical learning
