• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Location: Indianapolis, IN 46237
• Start Date: October 5, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Shift Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Patient Care Setting: Large emergency department
• EMR: Epic
• Call: Not required
• Float: According to skill set

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency nursing experience in a large emergency department or busy ED
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications
• Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and triage skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Comfortable adapting to fluctuating patient volumes, acuity levels, and emergency room workflows
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the emergency department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical need
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support timely interventions
• Use emergency department equipment and technology safely and effectively
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support patient throughput
• Deliver safe, efficient care that promotes excellent patient outcomes
