• Schedule: Day/evening rotation with flexible start times; 36-48 hours per week depending on assignment needs
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000-$2,110
• Environment: Busy Emergency Department with a high patient volume and a dynamic pace

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Level I or II Emergency Department experience, or 2+ years of recent Level III/IV Emergency Department experience
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks
• Successful completion of a telemetry assessment on day 1
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications
• Recent emergency nursing experience; previous travel nurse experience and critical care background preferred
• Ability to remain flexible and perform well in a rapidly changing clinical setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and collaborate with the care team to support safe, efficient treatment
• Interpret telemetry rhythms and identify clinically significant changes
• Support related areas as needed, including Psych ED and Pedi ED for patients age 15+ when appropriate experience is present
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow departmental standards and protocols
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while helping maintain smooth patient flow in a high-volume department
