Job Details

• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Location: Boston, Massachusetts 02118
• Start Date: September 21, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150-$2,260
• Call: On-call coverage once per schedule
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every 3rd weekend and every other holiday as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of inpatient Operating Room experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Scrub experience required
• Ability to competently work in at least 5 surgical service lines
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Experience with neuro, vascular, and complex surgical cases preferred
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a positive team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating and scrub support in a busy, 24/7 operating room environment
• Support a wide range of surgical specialties, including general, gyn, GU, oral, ENT, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine
• Maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality perioperative patient care
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure smooth case flow
• Adapt to changing priorities and provide coverage as needed, including floating to an additional OR location if required
• Deliver excellent communication and teamwork throughout each shift
