• Setting: Busy emergency care environment serving a high daily patient volume
• Location: Boston, MA 02118
• Assignment Length: 18 weeks
• Start Date: September 7, 2026
• End Date: January 9, 2027
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.; 48-hour weekly schedule preferred, with 36-hour contracts considered
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,100–$2,210
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:4–1:5 depending on acuity

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent Level I or II Emergency Department experience, or 2+ years of recent Level III/IV Emergency Department experience
• Active and unexpired BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks
• Must pass a telemetry test on day one with a score of 85% or higher
• Flexibility to float to Psych ED and Pediatric ED as needed
• Prior EPIC experience, travel nursing experience, and critical care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a very busy Emergency Department
• Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Work collaboratively with the emergency care team to manage patient flow in a high-volume setting
• Support floating assignments to Psych ED and Pediatric ED, including care for patients age 15+ in pediatrics when appropriate
• Maintain strong clinical judgment while delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency nursing care
• Adapt quickly to changing patient needs and departmental priorities
