• Location: Lewes, Delaware
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,980 - $2,080
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Floating: As needed, with most float assignments typically to the home unit
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 16 hours

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg, telemetry, or acute care nursing experience required
• Strong telemetry nursing skills, including experience with cardiac drips
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• PCU and telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotate weekends as scheduled
• Comfortable floating as needed in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and manage patients receiving cardiac drips
• Perform ongoing assessments, document findings in Epic, and communicate updates to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary staff to support positive patient outcomes
• Provide care across varying acuity levels, with patient ratios that may range from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on census and acuity
• Adapt quickly to float assignments and maintain a high standard of nursing practice
• Support a positive patient experience through professionalism, teamwork, and strong clinical judgment
