Job Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg and telemetry nursing experience
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience in a high-acuity, high-volume acute care setting
• Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and patient assessment skills

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive bedside nursing care for adult renal and medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs
• Interpret cardiac telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Perform frequent assessments and ongoing patient monitoring
• Collaborate with nephrologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary care team members to support patient outcomes
• Float as needed within scope to similar Med/Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders
• Maintain efficient workflow while delivering safe, compassionate, patient-centered care
