Job Details
- Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit
- Location: Chillicothe, OH 45601
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070 - $2,180
- Schedule: Weekdays, every other weekend, and holidays
- Call: No call required
- Start Date: 9/21/2026
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Preferred: 5+ years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Preferred: Previous travel nursing experience
- Preferred: Epic experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Ability to work nights and participate in weekend and holiday coverage
- Must live outside the local travel radius requirement
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring, postpartum, and recovery patients
- Triage patients and prioritize care based on clinical needs
- Circulate cesarean sections and assist with operative deliveries
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the multidisciplinary care team during labor and delivery
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
- Support vaginal and cesarean recovery with attentive, patient-centered nursing care
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit standards, safety practices, and best practices
