ICU Registered Nurse – Travel RN Assignment in Mayfield Heights, Ohio

Experienced ICU Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, with easy access to the greater Cleveland metro area. • Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

• Orientation: 16 hours
• Estimated Weekly Earnings: $1,910 - $2,010

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent ICU experience as a Registered Nurse
• Active Ohio RN license or active compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Current NIHSS certification
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-acuity critical care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient status, interpret changes, and respond quickly to evolving clinical needs
• Administer medications, titrate therapies, and support advanced patient care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, high-quality care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly
• Support patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards
• Deliver compassionate, professional care while maintaining excellent attention to detail
