• Duration: 8 weeks
• Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shift
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Call: Required, including weeknight and weekend call coverage
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling environment
• Float: May be required based on staffing needs

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of current Operating Room experience required
• Prior travel nurse experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required or obtainable after acceptance
• Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date
• Cerner experience preferred
• Experience circulating and managing total joint cases strongly preferred
• Willingness to complete orientation, modules, and facility compliance requirements
• Candidate must live more than 75 miles from the facility

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room
• Circulate for a variety of surgical procedures, including total joints and complex specialty cases
• Support cases in orthopedics, robotics, neuro, urology, laparoscopic, and general surgery
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain accurate documentation and support medication workflows using the designated EMR/system tools
• Participate in call coverage, holiday rotation, and float assignments as needed
• Deliver compassionate care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Follow all scheduling, time-off, and compliance guidelines throughout the assignment
