• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Expected to work 2 of 3 major holiday periods, based on contract timing
• Floating: May float to other departments based on unit needs
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,850 - $1,940

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience required
• Active Registered Nurse license with no disciplinary actions accepted
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Experience in adult medical-surgical, telemetry, stepdown, or intermediate care nursing preferred
• Ability to manage a 1:5 patient ratio in a fast-paced inpatient hospital environment
• Comfortable floating between IMC, Orthopedics, and Rehab units
• Experience supporting patients with pneumonia, AKI, cellulitis, bowel obstruction, hip fractures, osteomyelitis, and post-operative orthopedic needs
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holiday rotations

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an intermediate care and cardiac stepdown setting
• Monitor telemetry, assess changes in condition, and respond appropriately to patient needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to the plan of care
• Support patients recovering from orthopedic, medical, and surgical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response resources
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and isolation precautions as needed
• Assist with care coordination and discharge readiness
• Float to IMC, Orthopedics, or Rehab units based on census and patient care needs
• Deliver compassionate, team-oriented care in a supportive community hospital environment
