• Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Lee's Summit, MO 64063 (Kansas City metro area)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Openings: 2
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Unit Size: 13-bed Emergency Department
• Charting System: Meditech EMR
• Work Environment: Non-trauma ER with a supportive, collaborative team

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current ENPC or PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a dynamic emergency room environment
• Charge experience is preferred for candidates pursuing a charge role
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of varying acuity
• Monitor and assess patients while maintaining safe and effective patient ratios
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and fellow nurses to support patient flow and care delivery
• Perform routine ER procedures and respond appropriately to changing patient needs
• Document patient care accurately in the Meditech EMR
• Support a team culture that is open, collaborative, and positive
• Be available for occasional weekend night shifts if needed
