Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a large-volume, high-acuity Emergency Department
• Prior travel nurse experience is not required, but flexibility is valued
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC
• Strong experience with triage and emergency severity indexing (ESI)
• Comfortable using Epic EMR
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency nursing environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics
• Perform triage and prioritize care based on patient acuity and emergency severity
• Administer medications safely, including barcode-scanned medication administration and medication drips
• Support trauma, code, stroke, cardiac, and pediatric emergency cases
• Assist with chest tubes, arterial lines, splinting, BiPAP/vent management, and blood product administration
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to stabilize and manage critically ill patients
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining efficiency in a busy ED environment
