• Patient Population: Adolescents, infants, and adults

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; compact license must be in hand at submission if applicable
• Epic experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• ACLS preferred
• Experience with labor, preterm labor, triage, and high-risk obstetrical care
• Ability to float to postpartum and, when needed, nearby sister units based on skill set
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients in labor, triage, antepartum, and postpartum settings
• Support and attend routine and high-risk deliveries
• Circulate for C-sections and assist with pre-op, post-op, scrub, and OB-GYN related care as needed
• Administer and monitor blood products, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and other specialized therapies
• Manage common obstetrical medications and infusions, including insulin, heparin, and magnesium sulfate
• Perform fetal monitoring, patient education, pain assessment, and ongoing clinical evaluation
• Collaborate with the care team to support safe labor progression and positive birth outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established clinical protocols
