Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Registered Nurse with strong Med/Surg nursing experience for a 13-week travel nurse assignment in Fort Worth, TX. In this inpatient medical-surgical setting, you will care for a diverse patient population, collaborate with an experienced care team, and contribute to excellent patient outcomes in a supportive environment.

• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460-$1,540
• EMR: Meditech
• Floating: May float to other medical-surgical units as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Basic EKG interpretation skills
• Comfort working in a collaborative, team-based healthcare environment
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients in an inpatient setting
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols
• Perform assessments, document care accurately, and maintain EMR charting standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and support teams to coordinate care
• Participate in shift huddles and maintain strong communication throughout the assignment
• Support unit flow while maintaining an excellent patient experience
• Adapt to floating assignments within other Med/Surg areas as needed
