Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Registered Nurse with strong Med/Surg nursing experience for a 13-week travel nurse assignment in Fort Worth, TX. In this inpatient medical-surgical setting, you will care for a diverse patient population, collaborate with an experienced care team, and contribute to excellent patient outcomes in a supportive environment.

- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460-$1,540
- EMR: Meditech
- Floating: May float to other medical-surgical units as needed
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Basic EKG interpretation skills
- Comfort working in a collaborative, team-based healthcare environment
- Meditech experience preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients in an inpatient setting
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
- Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols
- Perform assessments, document care accurately, and maintain EMR charting standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and support teams to coordinate care
- Participate in shift huddles and maintain strong communication throughout the assignment
- Support unit flow while maintaining an excellent patient experience
- Adapt to floating assignments within other Med/Surg areas as needed
