• Shift: 06:00-16:00
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Work Schedule: 4 days per week
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current AHA ACLS certification required
• Current AHA PALS certification required
• Current CPI certification required
• At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with clinical documentation
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the surgical team

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room
• Care for a variety of cases, including orthopedic, general, podiatry, GYN/OB, C-sections, pain management, urology, and endoscopy
• Demonstrate proficiency in the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and management to ensure patient needs are met
• Maintain clinical competency and continue learning new skills within the perioperative department
• Follow safety standards, medication rights, policies, and procedures at all times
• Support teamwork, professionalism, and positive patient and family experiences
• Promote confidentiality, patient advocacy, and respectful, culturally sensitive care
• Participate in quality improvement, compliance, and departmental competency requirements
