• Travel Nursing Assignment: Yes
• Orientation: Held every other Monday
• Float Requirement: Not required
• Holiday Requirement: Must be willing to work at least one major holiday

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent registered nurse experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Active Virginia RN license or compact RN license required by start date
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Experience in intermediate care, cardiac stepdown, telemetry, med-surg, neuro, or stroke care preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Ability to provide a complete work history, skills checklist, and license documentation at submission
• Willingness to explain any employment gaps over 90 days

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care to cardiac stepdown and intermediate care patients
• Monitor and assess patients with cardiac, telemetry, neuro, and CVA-related diagnoses
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, efficient patient outcomes
• Use strong clinical judgment in a busy acute-care hospital environment
• Support unit flow and step into charge RN responsibilities when needed, with training provided
• Deliver patient-centered care while adapting to changing acuity and unit needs
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture that supports learning and collaboration
