Job Requirements
- Active multi-state or Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
- At least 2 years of RN experience, preferably in emergency nursing or an acute care setting
- Epic experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced Emergency Department
- ENPC and TNCC are a plus
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
- Deliver safe, effective emergency room care to patients across a variety of acuity levels
- Individualize nursing care plans based on patient needs, age, and psychosocial factors
- Prioritize care, respond to changing conditions, and communicate effectively with the care team
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the medical record
- Support patient education, discharge planning, and appropriate referrals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote positive outcomes
- Contribute to quality improvement, educational activities, and unit standards
