Overview

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to support a busy Women and Infant unit in Breese, IL. This travel nursing assignment is designed for Registered Nurses who thrive in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery environment, value teamwork, and are committed to delivering excellent patient care throughout the birthing process.

Job Details

• Start Date: 9/21/2026
• End Date: 12/20/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights, every other weekend
• Hours: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470-$2,600

Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery specialty experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Current Fetal Monitoring certification
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout the labor and delivery process
• Support physicians and care team members during deliveries and related procedures
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately
• Educate and reassure patients and families throughout their maternity care experience
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
• Collaborate closely with the Women and Infant care team to promote positive outcomes
