- Duration: 21 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Approximately 75% weekends required
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
- EMR: EPIC
ICU RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and a strong ICU background
- Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience required
- Experience caring for sedated, intubated, and pressor-dependent patients
- Comfortable floating to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU, and IMC as needed
- Ability to adapt quickly to different patient populations and assignments
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Flexibility to support multiple assignments during a shift when needed
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality critical care nursing to critically ill patients across multiple ICU settings
- Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition with urgency and professionalism
- Support patients requiring advanced ICU interventions and close clinical observation
- Float between critical care and intermediate care units based on staffing needs and experience
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain a calm, flexible, and patient-focused approach in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Promote excellent patient outcomes through strong clinical judgment and teamwork
