Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Charge RN experience strongly preferred
• Background in critical access hospital or acute care settings preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced med-surg/telemetry environment
• Experience with Cerner and Pyxis preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Support unit operations and serve as Charge RN for most shifts as needed
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Deliver safe, efficient patient care while using strong clinical judgment
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Assist with patient flow, assignments, and coordination of care on the unit
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
