• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• End Date: 12/20/2026
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
• On-Call: 1 night per week and every 6th weekend
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,270 - $2,390
• Location: Mason City, Iowa 50401

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• No minimum years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Ability to work scheduled day shifts and participate in on-call coverage
• Willingness to complete required onboarding and competency documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, skilled nursing care to surgical patients in the Operating Room
• Prepare the OR and support efficient patient flow throughout the surgical day
• Assist surgeons and the perioperative team during procedures
• Monitor patients closely before, during, and after surgery as needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established protocols
• Respond to on-call needs according to the rotating travel nurse schedule
• Collaborate with the surgical services team to promote excellent patient outcomes
