Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred in a Progressive Care Unit, step-down unit, or similar acute care setting
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient monitoring skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Progressive Care Unit
- Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond appropriately to evolving clinical needs
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe and effective treatment plans
- Administer medications and therapies according to unit standards and patient needs
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and on time
- Promote a safe, compassionate, and supportive patient care experience
