Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
At least 1 year of telemetry nursing or comparable acute care RN experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification required
Strong knowledge of telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Comfort working in a fast-paced acute care unit with variable patient ratios
Experience with chest tubes and acute care procedures preferred
Ability to float as needed to related inpatient units

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients in a busy inpatient hospital setting
Monitor remote telemetry systems and assess patients for changes in condition
Administer medications, complete patient assessments, and document accurately in Meditech
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, timely interventions
Assist with procedures such as chest tube care, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis as appropriate
Follow unit-specific telemetry monitoring and stroke policies
Deliver compassionate care while supporting excellent patient experience standards
