Job Details

• Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
• Location: Indianapolis, IN 46237
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Start Date: 10/5/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Previous experience in a large, fast-paced ED strongly preferred
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications
• Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to adapt to changing patient volume
• Comfort working nights and weekends in a high-acuity healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient emergency nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Assess, prioritize, and stabilize patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support timely treatment and patient flow
• Provide nursing care for patients in shock, core, psych, and exam areas as assigned
• Document care accurately using Epic and support unit workflows with confidence
• Maintain a calm, professional presence in a rapid-paced clinical setting
