• Location: Albany, OR 97321 — a welcoming Willamette Valley community known for its small-town charm, friendly atmosphere, and convenient access to scenic outdoor recreation.
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Unit: Labor & Delivery / Postpartum Care
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, rotating weekends
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,030 - $3,190
• Start Date: 08/27/2026

Job Requirements

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Experience must include labor management, delivery care, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care for mother and newborn
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• NRP required
• NIHSS required
• Epic proficiency required
• Preferred: Fetal Monitoring Certification and STABLE
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to travel for assignments and use a personal automobile for work-related travel
• Strong adaptability and comfort working in changing, dynamic healthcare environments

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality maternal and newborn nursing care in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Support safe deliveries and recovery care with attention to evidence-based clinical best practices
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes
• Deliver patient education and emotional support to families throughout the birthing experience
• Accurately document patient care and maintain proficiency in Epic electronic health record documentation
• Adapt to shifting assignments and provide reliable coverage based on unit needs
• Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and a team-oriented approach in a travel nursing setting
