Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Washington State RN license or accepted multi-state nursing license
• Completion of approved 6-hour suicide training
• Demographics verification through Nursys
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Knowledge of Meditech is helpful, but not required
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to float to other hospital departments as needed

Med-Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond appropriately to evolving needs
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and provider orders
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
• Document care accurately and maintain compliance with unit standards
• Float to other departments in rotation when needed
• Support a safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care environment
