• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Schedule Notes: Orientation occurs every other Monday; weekend coverage may be needed based on unit demand; at least one major holiday commitment is required

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 2-3 years of recent ICU nursing experience or comparable acute care experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification or experience required
• Experience with neuro ICU, medical ICU, or surgical ICU patients preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt quickly in a teaching hospital environment
• Willingness to assist with charge nurse responsibilities when needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing to neuro ICU and intensive care patients
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Support patient care using common ICU equipment, including IV pumps, oxygen delivery devices, chest tubes, wound vacs, bladder scanners, SCDs, glucometers, and remote telemetry
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, students, and new hires in a supportive teaching hospital setting
• Float first when required by unit need
• Maintain professional, flexible, and patient-centered care during busy seasonal staffing periods
