- Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment

- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800-$1,890
- Orientation: Orientation dates available on select Mondays
- Setting: General Medical-Surgical / Telemetry environment
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- Cerner experience preferred
- Ability to provide work history and explain employment gaps over 90 days
- Skills checklist and license verification required for submission
- Willingness to work at least one major holiday during the assignment
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate care to Med/Surg and telemetry patients
- Monitor and assess patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including respiratory, cardiac, metabolic, neurological, infectious, and vascular conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and the care team to support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
- Support a patient ratio of approximately 1:6
- Respond to changing patient conditions and prioritize care effectively during night shift hours
- Provide assistance in a teaching-focused clinical environment where students and new team members may be present
- Charge responsibilities may be assigned with appropriate support and training
