• Setting: Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Start Date: Flexible start window available
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Shift Schedule: 3 day shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Floating: Yes, within the hospital as needed
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• BSN preferred
• Experience in a Level IV NICU strongly preferred
• Current BLS and NRP certification required
• ACLS, PALS, and STABLE preferred
• Experience with Epic charting preferred; Epic experience required for submission
• Experience with ventilator management, bubble CPAP, tracheostomy care, and PA lines preferred
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert neonatal nursing care to neonates and infants in a high-acuity NICU setting
• Monitor patient status closely and respond to changes in condition with urgency and precision
• Support family-centered care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to promote the best outcomes
• Manage specialized equipment and therapies, including ventilators, HFOV, bubble CPAP, and therapeutic hypothermia
• Assist with care for surgical patients and tracheostomy patients
• Document care accurately in Epic and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
• Contribute to a supportive teaching environment that values learning, collaboration, and excellence
