• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse Job
• Location: Portland, OR 97239
• Start Date: Flexible start options available in September, October, or November 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Shifts per Week: 3 shifts per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Charting System: Epic
• Schedule Notes: Weekend coverage required; floating within the hospital may be expected
• Patient Population: Neonates and infants

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience required
• BSN preferred
• BLS and NRP required
• Epic experience required
• Strong clinical background in high-acuity neonatal care
• Experience with ventilator management, bubble CPAP, and advanced NICU support preferred
• First-time travelers may be considered with strong experience
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic unit and float as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill, convalescing, and growing newborns
• Monitor and manage neonates requiring advanced respiratory and developmental support
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Care for surgical patients, tracheostomy patients, and infants with complex medical needs
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic
• Maintain a calm, organized approach in a high-acuity NICU environment
• Support team-based care and contribute to excellent patient outcomes
