Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Job in Nashville, Tennessee

Travel to Nashville, TN for a 16-week Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse assignment in a fast-paced hospital setting. • Location: Nashville, TN 37208
• Setting: Medical-Surgical Unit
• Assignment Length: 16 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Floating: Required to other med-surg, telemetry, forensic, ED, and postpartum units as needed
• Weekend Coverage: Required, with scheduled weekend rotation

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Active Tennessee RN license or compact multi-state license at time of submission
• Current Nursys report with active license status
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required; MAB accepted in lieu of CPI
• Comfortable caring for a varied patient population, including forensic and prison-population patients
• Ability to adapt quickly, float between units, and maintain strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to medical-surgical patients with varying acuity levels
• Monitor and assess patients, implement care plans, and communicate changes promptly to the care team
• Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with clinical standards and unit protocols
• Support telemetry and float assignments while maintaining a high level of professionalism and teamwork
• Provide care for patients with complex social and medical needs in a respectful, patient-centered manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes and a smooth patient experience
