• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week; every other weekend required
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,470 - $1,550

• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Floating: Required

Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS required
• NIHSS preferred
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Telemetry nursing experience strongly valued
• Strong tracheostomy care and airway management skills
• Comfort working in a float pool environment
• Experience with Epic documentation preferred
• Ability to work nights and every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric Med-Surg patients
• Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition
• Manage telemetry needs and interpret dysrhythmias as part of daily patient care
• Provide tracheostomy care and support airway management needs as assigned
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards and provider orders
• Collaborate with therapists, respiratory services, pharmacy, and other support teams
• Document care accurately in Epic and communicate clearly with the care team
• Support a positive patient experience while maintaining a high standard of clinical excellence
• Adapt to floating assignments and contribute to a reliable, team-oriented workflow
