Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland or compact RN license, as applicable
• Strong clinical knowledge of perioperative nursing standards, sterile technique, and infection prevention
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative surgical team environment
• Excellent communication, organization, and patient advocacy skills
• BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative process
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and uphold infection prevention protocols at all times
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, and surgical staff to support efficient workflow
• Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition during surgical procedures
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support patient safety, comfort, and education before and after procedures
