Job Details

• Position: Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Boston, MA 02114
• Start Date: 09/27/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12-hour any shift
• Schedule: Rotating days/nights, every other weekend, and every other holiday
• Patient Ratio: 3-4 on days, 4-5 on nights
• EMR: EPIC
• Openings: 2
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• At least 1 year of medical/surgical nursing or acute care nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Experience caring for adult inpatients with acute and complex medical conditions
• EPIC experience preferred for accurate clinical documentation
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts and meet every other weekend and holiday expectations
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Medical/Surgical patients with a variety of acute and complex needs
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond appropriately to evolving clinical situations
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EPIC
• Maintain a safe, efficient unit environment while supporting excellent patient and family communication
• Float to other areas as needed on a rare basis
• Contribute to a positive team culture and deliver compassionate care to a culturally diverse patient population
