• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM; weekdays with some weekends and rotating holidays
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: 8 weekend shifts per contract
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 - $1,930
• Location: Columbus, Ohio
• Start Date: 10/5/2026

Job Requirements

• 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Current compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience caring for patients across the lifespan, including pediatrics and geriatrics
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and floating assignments as needed
• Education must be from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ER setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with variable acuity levels
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency interventions as indicated
• Monitor and manage patients with neurologic, cardiac, trauma, and medical emergencies
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and other clinical support teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic
• Provide safe, compassionate patient care while supporting efficient patient flow
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity when needed
