Experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) needed for a 13-week local contract in Harrison Township, New Jersey. Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090-$2,200
• Location: Harrison Township, New Jersey
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room (ER)
• Start Date: 9/21/2026
• Contract Duration: 13-week local contract
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: None

Job Requirements

• Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Previous travel nursing or contract RN experience required
• Recent Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience required
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency care setting preferred
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, skilled patient care in a busy emergency department environment
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately using Epic
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support efficient patient flow
• Respond quickly to urgent and emergent situations while maintaining high clinical standards
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with department protocols
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Participate in orientation, required training, and unit onboarding activities
