• Unit: PACU / Post Anesthesia Care Unit / Post-Operative Recovery
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,820 to $1,910
• Start Date: 9/14/2026
• Schedule Notes: Every third weekend rotation and holiday rotation

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking skills
• Experience in PACU, perioperative care, med-surg, or telemetry preferred
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients recovering from anesthesia and procedures
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, airway status, and overall patient stability in the PACU
• Recognize changes in condition and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and carry out physician orders within RN scope of practice
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with the care team to support timely and effective patient throughput
• Deliver a calm, reassuring patient experience during the recovery period
