Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• NICU experience required; at least 1 year of recent neonatal nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts with flexibility as needed
• Willingness to work 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week period
• Availability to work on Thanksgiving or Christmas as scheduled
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork in a high-acuity neonatal care setting
• Completion of required onboarding, background, health, and compliance documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill newborns in the NICU
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary neonatal care team
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and support neonatal treatment plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly
• Educate and support families with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient environment in the neonatal intensive care unit
