We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a Care Transition Unit. This role is ideal for an experienced travel nurse who thrives in a collaborative acute care environment, is confident interpreting cardiac rhythms, and enjoys working 12-hour night shifts with a strong team focus.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatric patients
• Patient Ratio: 5:1
• Float: May float to same level of care
• Common Equipment: Alaris IV pump, bladder scanner, glucometer
• Work Attire: Black or white scrubs

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state license
• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
• Telemetry interpretation experience required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC experience preferred
• ACLS preferred
• NIHSS preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Must pass Dysrhythmia and Basic Math assessments during onboarding
• Must be able to work within an 80-mile radius requirement

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and timely nursing care to telemetry patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Use clinical judgment to prioritize care for a diverse adult and geriatric patient population
• Support patient transitions with professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication
• Adapt to unit needs and assist with floating to similar levels of care when needed
