Overview
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a Care Transition Unit. This role is ideal for an experienced travel nurse who thrives in a collaborative acute care environment, is confident interpreting cardiac rhythms, and enjoys working 12-hour night shifts with a strong team focus.

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatric patients
- Patient Ratio: 5:1
- Float: May float to same level of care
- Common Equipment: Alaris IV pump, bladder scanner, glucometer
- Work Attire: Black or white scrubs
Job Requirements
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state license
- Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
- Telemetry interpretation experience required
- BLS certification required
- EPIC experience preferred
- ACLS preferred
- NIHSS preferred
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Must pass Dysrhythmia and Basic Math assessments during onboarding
- Must be able to work within an 80-mile radius requirement
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and timely nursing care to telemetry patients in an acute care setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
- Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Use clinical judgment to prioritize care for a diverse adult and geriatric patient population
- Support patient transitions with professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication
- Adapt to unit needs and assist with floating to similar levels of care when needed
