• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,640 - $1,730
• Location: Moosic, Pennsylvania 18507

Job Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania RN license at the time of submission
• At least 1 year of recent experience in psychiatric nursing, behavioral health, or mental health nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) credential
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as assigned
• Comfort working in an acute inpatient setting with a strong focus on patient safety, therapeutic communication, and trauma-informed care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric behavioral health patients
• Support patients experiencing mental health and substance use challenges
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary behavioral health team to promote stabilization and recovery
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic charting and paper restraint records as needed
• Administer medications and monitor patients in accordance with facility protocols
• Use de-escalation, crisis intervention, and safety techniques to support a therapeutic environment
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture in a newly built, well-equipped inpatient facility
