- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, typically 1800-0630 or 1600-0430 based on department needs
- Shifts Per Week: Approximately 3
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
- Location: Cincinnati, Ohio area (45255) - a lively, accessible city with a strong sense of community and plenty to explore during your time off
Job Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to complete a dysrhythmia exam
- Strong clinical judgment in triage, stabilization, and high-acuity patient care
- Experience caring for pediatric and adult emergency patients preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in a busy Emergency Department setting
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments, prioritize care, and respond rapidly to changing patient conditions
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with nursing standards and hospital policies
- Support patients requiring critical interventions, including drips, oxygen support, IV access, and advanced monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated care
- Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and compassionate care for individuals of all ages
- Maintain accurate documentation and help support efficient patient flow in a high-intensity emergency care environment
