Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Epic experience preferred
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment
- Experience with cardiac critical care, hemodynamic monitoring, CRRT, mechanical circulatory support, or Swan-Ganz monitoring is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for critically ill patients
- Use the nursing process in accordance with unit policies, procedures, and hospital standards
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changing clinical conditions
- Perform and prioritize nursing interventions based on patient needs
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Educate patients and families as appropriate to support understanding and discharge readiness
- Support quality improvement, patient safety, and unit-based education initiatives
- Complete required reports, communication, and handoff documentation in a timely manner
