- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour days
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma or a valid multi-state RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience required
- Critical care nursing or ICU experience strongly preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current NIHSS certification required
- Experience with Epic charting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, detail-oriented healthcare environment
ICU Nursing Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process
- Deliver safe, high-quality care for critically ill patients in accordance with unit and hospital standards
- Monitor patient status, anticipate unit needs, and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Administer nursing interventions while considering cultural, psychosocial, and age-related factors
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care team members
- Support patient education and discharge planning as appropriate
- Participate in quality improvement, education, and mandatory in-service activities
- Use sound clinical judgment and maintain professionalism in a complex critical care setting
