• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour days
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma or a valid multi-state RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• Critical care nursing or ICU experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, detail-oriented healthcare environment

ICU Nursing Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process
• Deliver safe, high-quality care for critically ill patients in accordance with unit and hospital standards
• Monitor patient status, anticipate unit needs, and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Administer nursing interventions while considering cultural, psychosocial, and age-related factors
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care team members
• Support patient education and discharge planning as appropriate
• Participate in quality improvement, education, and mandatory in-service activities
• Use sound clinical judgment and maintain professionalism in a complex critical care setting
